Teachers & Staff

We have over 70 dedicated teachers (List of Teachers, Staff, & Volunteers) serving more than 300 students. We give dedicated attention to all students with an evolving curriculum that fits the needs of our students. Additionally, we have a great office staff that manages files, copies, setup, and cleanup of the school every weekend. May Allah reward all staff for making the Sunday Madrassa a great success.

Accepting Application for Jobs/Volunteering

Please remember every year we have limited paid positions available (We prefer to give these positions to students & teachers who have a financial needs. We encourage you to offer your services for free and leave paid positions for individuals who have financial limitations.

  • We are looking volunteers for 2012-2013 term who can speak fluent English and willing to teach bigger grades.
  • We are also looking for Male volunteer teachers.
  • People who can teach Quran, Qirat & Tafseer.
  • We are also in need of Substitute teachers (who can teach on need basis).
  • Room parents and volunteers who can start PTO.
  • Parents who can monitor students during snack & Salah time.
  • Parents who can organize field trips, Eid, Iftar & graduation party.
  • Principal – someone who is ready to commit and willing to be affiliated with the Sunday Madrassa for the next 2-3 years. He/She has to be a resident of Greater St. Louis. We are willing to pay for this position but they will have to volunteer for ONE whole year as he/she is getting trained.
  • Runner: Someone who can do grocery shopping and other small errands.
